Air Committee exchange at Eurocorps

Twice a year the airforce representatives of the framework nations meet at the Eurocorps in Strasbourg.

In addition to providing information, they mainly coordinate the necessary support for exercises and the actual NATO Response Force (NRF) mission.

As a Land Component Command for the NRF, Eurocorps is not only responsible for commanding up to 60,000 soldiers on the ground, but also has to coordinate the necessary air support. For this purpose Eurocorps maintains its own air force cell which provides the necessary expertise. This cell was assessed in the Joint Warefare Center in Stavanger by the Air Command from Rammstein.

Result of the discussions: All framework nations fully support the Eurocorps also from the air force side.
